Title:
IMAGE FORMING METHOD, INKJET PRINTED MATTER, AND ACTIVE RAY-CURABLE TYPE INKJET INK
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2011025684
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an image forming method which uses active ray-curable type inkjet ink showing good jettability and forms a highly sensitive, highly glossy and flexible image, and to provide an inkjet printed matter which is obtained using the method and the active ray-curable type inkjet ink used for these.

In the image forming method, the image is formed by jetting the active ray-curable type inkjet ink containing a photopolymerization initiator and a polymerizable monomer and having a surface tension of 30 to 50 mN/m to a record medium by the ink jet method, irradiating the active ray from a light source and curing the ink. The active ray is irradiated such that the surface free energy γS of the cured ink layer is within a range of 30 to 50 mJ/m2, and a polar component γSP is within the range of 5 to 15 mJ/m2.
