Abstract:

To provide a high-quality cinematographic film by an image forming technique by which a uniform gray image can be formed at practical recording speed and a multiple tone using a micromirror device.

An image forming method using a micromirror device including a plurality of micromirrors and a light source which applies light on the device, comprises: exposing an image by projecting reflected light from each micromirror in an effective reflecting state on a silver halide color photographic sensitive material. The photographic sensitive material has red-, green- and blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers on transmissive support, at least one of the emulsion layers contains a silver halide emulsion having a silver chloride content of 95 mol%, and the emulsion contains at least one metal complex represented by the general formula (D1): [MD1XD1nLD1(6-n)]m and at least one metal complex represented by the general formula (D2): [IrXD2nLD2(6-n)]m.
