To provide an image forming method in which exposure density irregularity caused by plural exposure light sources is improved.

In this method; an image is formed by exposing at least one photosensitive layer of photosensitive material having at least photosensitive silver halide emulsion and binder on a supporting body by using an exposure head provided with plural light sources so that they are the different light sources respectively emitting light in specified wavelength regions corresponding to adjacent exposure pixels. In such a case, the change of the sensitivity of the photosensitive material in a spectral sensitivity curve obtained by plotting the sensitivity of the photosensitive material corresponding to the centroidal wavelength of each light source is ≤0.01 logE/nm in the specified wavelength region being the range from the shortest wave to the longest wave of plural light sources to be used.
