To provide an image forming method capable of substantially extending life of developing agents while maintaining high resolution and high image quality, and providing a stable and high quality image over a long period of time.
The image forming method uses two-component developers of a magnetic carrier and each toner of YMCBk. An image forming device comprises a photoreceptor, a developer support member that contains two or more magnets inside, a means for supplying developers to the support member, a developer return member that compresses the developers on the developer support member, and a bristle height restricting member that cuts bristles of a magnetic brush on the developer support member. Furthermore, the image forming device comprises a fixing device in which an image forming station corresponding to each color having a developing device equipped with developing poles in which the two or more magnets correspond to developing areas, and a cut pole that faces the upstream of the bristle height restricting member is disposed along a belt-like mobile object, and which fixes a toner image carried by the mobile object on a material to which the image is transferred. The image forming method uses the image forming device and forms the image.
