Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an image without any color turbidity of color omission and excellent in sharpness.
CONSTITUTION: A silver halide photosensitive material contg. a compd. shown by D-(X)y is image-wise exposed, then or simultaneously the material is put on a mordant sheet face to face in the presence of a reducing agent, a base and water and developed, the compd. shown by D-(X)y is transferred on the mordant sheet, and then both materials are released from each other to obtain a picture on the silver halide photosensitive material. In the formula, D is a compd. having a chromophore, X is a group having a dissociative proton joined to the D directly or through a bivalent connecting group or a dissociative proton, and (y) is an integer of 1 to 7.
