Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method good in the storage stability of a photosensitive member after processing in the novel image forming method for obtaining a color image by easy heat development processing.
SOLUTION: This image forming method uses a photosensitive member and a processing member, and after imagewise exposing the photosensitive member, both members except each backing layer are laid on each other face to face in the presence of water of 10-100weight% of an amount necessary for swelling each layer to the maximum content and heating both at 60-100°C and for 5-60sec to form an image due to at least 3 kinds of nondiffusive dyes, thus permitting a color image to be formed on another recording material on the base of this image. It is characterized by that this image forming method has a means for inhibiting the dye forming reaction after the heat development.
