To enable it to choose a desired printed matter while an output result is checking without setting consciously by a user side from the printer driver of a personal computer by setting beforehand a color tone setting (for a photography, graphics) to the saved area of a hard disk unit.
This invention is a method of obtaining an image output by altering the setting of the printer driver of the personal computer, setting printing beforehand within the printer controller of the printer different from a former which prints it as re-creates a PDL file and transfers it, and creating the image in which a plurality of settings are made to reflect. Moreover, the PDL file which becomes an original of setting stores in the hard disk drive unit temporarily, and prints at the place without repeating the same operation from the personal computer, when re-printing, additional outputting is carried out, etc.
