PURPOSE: To receive and give sheets exactly between an image forming device and an outputted sheet processing device even if the discharging interval of the sheets is small, and carry out exact bundling for the sheets in the outputted sheet processing device.
CONSTITUTION: This system is provided with an image forming device 300 Mich forms images on a paper sheet and discharges it, and an outputted sheet processing device 7 equipped with a paper aligning device for conducting bundling which bundles a prescribed number of sheets discharged from the image forming device. Following the operating frequency of a sorter T corresponding to the number of sheets necessary for bundling, the interval between the sheets discharged from the image forming device 300 is increased according to the time necessary for bundling. It is possible to prevent the next sheet from being discharged from the image forming device 300 during the bundling operation of the sorter 7.
