Abstract:
To provide an image forming system that prevents the occurrence of a failure in image formation while being capable of size reduction.SOLUTION: In an image forming system, an image forming apparatus has a fixing device 234, an ejection roller pair, an ejection path 258 that conveys a sheet from the fixing device 234 to the ejection roller pair 269, and a rear face path 259 and an inversion path 261 that branch from the ejection path 258 and convey the sheet in a direction different from a cutting device. The cutting device has a guillotine blade 305a that cuts the sheet in a sheet width direction orthogonal to a sheet conveyance direction. When cutting the sheet by using the guillotine blade 305a, a control unit can execute a mode for conveying the sheet to the rear face path 259 and the inversion path 261 so that a rear end of the sheet passes through the fixing device 234, and subsequently conveying the sheet on the rear face path 259 and the inversion path 261 to the cutting device B0.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
