To reduce the problem that productivity of a device decreases when an abnormality occurs.SOLUTION: An image forming system includes: an image forming device 100 capable of forming an image on the surface of a conveyed sheet PM(P); and a lamination processing device 50 that performs a lamination processing on a sheet conveyed from the image forming device 100 as a middle sheet PM inserted between two sheets P1 and P2 by a heater 51b (heating means). Then, when a specific abnormal event occurs among a plurality of abnormal events that may occur in the image forming device 100, a control mode (laminate fixing temperature maintenance mode) is provided to maintain heating by the heater 51b of the lamination processing device 50 for a predetermined time Tz, and when an abnormal event other than the specific abnormal event occurs, heating by the heater 51b is interrupted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 17
