Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize waste after detecting a case where insertion sheets are double fed when processing in an operation mode using the insertion sheet.
SOLUTION: This image forming system has the operation mode discharging sheets C carried without interposed by a printer 300 and sheets P carried via the printer 300 on a processing tray 630 in an arbitrary order and forming a sheet bundle on the processing tray 630. This system has an interruption key commanding the interruption of the operation of the operation mode, and a continuation key commanding the restarting of the interrupted operation. This system is characterized in that, when there is an input of the interruption key during operation in the operation mode, the operation is temporarily interrupted and shifted into an intermediate state waiting for the next command, when there is an input of the continuation key in the intermediate state, the temporarily interrupted operation is restarted to continue the operation, or when there is an input of the interruption key again in the intermediate state, the temporarily interrupted operation is completely stopped and fallen into the stop state.
