An image generation program is executed on a computer of an image generation device for generating an image to be displayed on a plan-view display device. The image generation program causes the computer to serve as: first image generation means for generating a plan-view image by imaging a virtual space with a reference virtual camera for providing a plan view of the virtual space; display control means for displaying the plan-view image on the display device; second image generation means for generating a stereoscopic image including a right-eye image and a left-eye image obtained on the basis of at least two view points by setting a stereoscopic virtual camera on the basis of the setting of the reference virtual camera while the plan-view image is displayed on the display device, and by imaging the virtual space with the stereoscopic virtual camera; and stereoscopic image storage control means for storing the stereoscopic image in a storage device.
