Abstract:
To cause a user to intuitively grasp a situation of a near-miss.SOLUTION: An image generation device comprises a detection unit, an extraction unit, a conversion unit and a correlation unit. The detection unit detects danger avoiding driving from travel data of a vehicle. In a case where the danger avoiding driving is detected by the detection unit, the extraction unit extracts a moving object from a picked-up video image that is obtained by continuously imaging the outside of the vehicle. The conversion unit converts the moving object that is extracted by the extraction unit, into an abstracted animation image. The correlation unit correlates location information of the danger avoiding driving to the animation image resulting from the conversion by the conversion unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
