Title:
IMAGE INPUT DEVICE PROVIDED WITH AUTOMATIC FOCUSING FUNCTION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003279843
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To solve the problems that it takes too much time to focus in CCDAF, timewise accuracy is insecure in AF using a range finding sensor and time is not sufficiently shortened since the CCDAF is used at the time of fine adjustment in hybrid AF using both in the automatic focusing (AF) of an image input device such as a digital camera.

Although the constitution is like the hybrid AF at a glance, focusing in normal photographing is performed only by a range finding means 15 using the range finding sensor 13 and the CCDAF is used only for the calibration of the range finding means 15 basically. For a lens delivery amount Fp1 obtained by being converted from the distance information of the range finding means 15, the lens delivery amount Fp2 is obtained by the CCDAF at a timing not obstructing photographing, and data for conversion in a conversion data storage means 12 for the range finding means 15 are rewritten from the deviation of both.
