Abstract:
PURPOSE:To shorten the time needed for inspection by obtaining simultaneously plural images without unevenness in the light quantity by dividing an optical signal from the irradiated object in plural directions and image-picking up it with plural photographing devices. CONSTITUTION:An inspected object A is mounted on a table 11 and an equal light is irradiated in the horizontal direction by a halogen electric lamp 12. Reflecting lights S1 and S2 from the first image-picking up area 13 and the second image-picking up area 14 are reflected in two contrary directions are reflected by a V-shaped reflecting mirror 16, and the image is picked up by ITV cameras 18A and 18B respectively. Next, the table 11 is shifted, the area 13 is shifted up to the position of the area 14 and photographed by the ITV camera. Thus, plural images of the inspected object is overlapped and inputted to the ITV cameras 18A and 18B and the unevenness in light quantity is eliminated at the image. Thus, since the image without unevenness in light quantity can be simultaneously obtained from plural image-picking up areas, the time needed for the surface inspection of an object is shortened.
