Abstract:
To allow a reading device to read, in a post-process, a correct code to be read in the process without erroneously reading another code nearby.SOLUTION: An image inspection system comprises: image forming units 21, 41 that print a plurality of codes Bf, Br on a printed material M; a plurality of reading units 53, 54 that read one code Bf or Br of the plurality of codes Bf, Br; and adjustment units 55-57 that adjust the reading positions of the reading units 53, 54. The image forming units 21, 41 include obfuscation processing units 23, 43 that perform obfuscation processing on the code Bf to be read of the plurality of codes Bf, Br. The adjustment units 55-57 adjust the reading position at which the reading unit 53 reads the code Bf based on a result of reading of the code Br other than the code Bf when the reading unit 53 corresponding to the code Bf to be read reads the code Bf to be read after the obfuscation processing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2C
