Abstract:
To exclude a danger of reluctantly annihilating data by automatically storing a necessary diagnostic image file without intervention of manual handling.
An image file server network-connected to a modality unit or an image viewer automatically permanently stores diagnostic image with a recording command in a removable media. If the image is once displayed and there is no user's command within a predetermined time after the display, the image is automatically permanently stored. The record commanded image is once reserved as for recording and automatically permanently stored after a predetermined time is elapsed. When a removable medium is not loaded, the permanent storage is reserved.
