Abstract:
To provide a copying machine capable of efficiently using the storage area of its own storage device, and accumulating image data a user wants to accumulate without putting a load on another external device as much as possible.
In an MFP (copying machine) provided with HDD, when it is detected that the HDD is not full (NO in step S603), and the empty capacity of the HDD is smaller than the capacity of image data of the document of a first page (YES in step S605), the image data are divided (step S606), and one divided data are accumulated in the HDD (step S607). The storage of the remaining data is requested to another MFP (step S604), and if it is storable (step S610), the data are transmitted (step S611) and accumulated.
