PURPOSE: To prevent the whole after-processing device from being separated from a copying machine by sliding it when a paper jam is generated, and to miniaturize the whole device with a simple structure, and also to facilitate the operation by enabling the upper part of an image output device to be opened and closed in relation to the lower part by taking one point on the discharge paper side as a fulcrum.
CONSTITUTION: When a copied paper formed by an image output device 1 is conveyed outside a device, a paper sheet 7 is conveyed to a discharge paper tray 20 by discharge paper rollers 15, 16. When the paper sheet 7 is jammed, an upper part 4 is turned around a fulcrum 6 in the releasing position shown by a chain line by operating a lever so that a paper conveying passage can be seen, and the paper sheet 7 is removed. When the copied paper is conveyed to an after-processing device 2, a paper sheet guiding part 27 is held in the position I, and the copied paper is discharged to an inlet of a paper sheet guiding part 27 from a discharging port of the device 1. When the paper sheet 7 is jammed, the upper part 4 is turned around the fulcrum 6, and a turning roller 31 is turned in the position II, thereby the paper sheet guiding part 27 may not be any obstacle.
