Abstract:
To suppress deterioration in image quality and data compression ratio caused by a sensitivity difference between pixels of the same color regardless of an inclination state of a light receiving surface of an image pickup device.SOLUTION: The inclination angle of the light receiving surface 401 of an image pickup device 200 is variable. A control unit 310 determines a replacement range on the basis of an inclination angle θ of the light receiving surface 401 formed with respect to a lens main surface 402. When a pixel signal from the image pickup device 200 is converted into an image signal, an output signal of at least a part of pixels of a replacement range is replaced with a value based on an output signal of at least one same-color pixel adjacent to the periphery of the pixel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
