PURPOSE:To obtain an optical image without any shading by composing the title device so that the whole of a reproduced optical image can be simultaneously read from a first photo-photo converting element and the read reproduced optical image can be given to a second photo-photo converting element as writing light. CONSTITUTION:Writing light WL1 image-forms the optical image of a copy device on a photo-photo covering element PPC1. On the other hand, reading light incident side of the element PPC1 is wholey irradiated by the reading light RL1. The light RL1 as the incident light to the element PPC1 proceeds according to the route of a transference electrode Et2 a photo modulating member PML a dielectric mirror DML, reflects on the mirror DML, and returns to the electrode Et2. Since the refractive index of a crystal to compose the member PML changes according to an electric field, the reflected light of the light RL1 includes picture information. Consequently, the reproduced optical image corresponding to the optical image becomes the incident light as writing light WL2 from the element PPC1 to a photo-photo converting element PPC2. Therefore, no shading exists in the optical image to be written to the element PPC2. A charge pattern formed on this element PPC2 is read by reading light RL2.
