To easily adjust a rocking resonance frequency of a scanning mirror in the case that a resonance scanning mirror driver is provided.
The device is provided with a resonance scanning mirror drive mechanism rocking a scanning mirror 13 with a scanning frequency for image pickup and a rock resonance frequency adjustment mechanism 21 provided to the scanning mirror 13 to adjust the rocking resonance frequency of the scanning mirror 13 into the adjusted rocking resonance frequency having a prescribed relation to the scanning frequency. The rocking resonance frequency adjustment mechanism has a thread hole 60 made to both sides of the scanning mirror 13 and a headless thread 61 as an adjustment weight screwed in the thread hole 60. Then the headless screw 61 is turned properly and the position of the headless screw 61 is properly moved to adjust the rocking resonance frequency.
