Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make motion detection compatible with automatic exposure control in a system detecting a motion of an object.
SOLUTION: Exposure control (S1-S5) and motion detection (S6, S7) are executed repetitively for each prescribed time. When no motion is detected in the step S7, automatic exposure control is made (S4) based on a level of a current video signal and when a motion is detected in the step S7, a control variable for automatic exposure is received from the step S4 and automatic exposure is controlled by using it (S5).
