To provide an image presentation system which ensures the brightness and hue of an image to be identical on the right and left eyes.

The image presentation system includes a first display portion (monitor 20) which presents a first image as a real image, a second display portion (LCD 31) which presents a second image as a virtual image, and an imaging portion (camera 40) which images an area including the first image for the first image observed from a first-view point taking right-left eye parallax into consideration and the second image observed from a second-view point. The image presentation system also has an image processing portion (CPU 32) which performs image processing by which the second image presented by the second display portion is made viewable while being overlapped on the first image by using the images picked up by the imaging portion, and image processing by which the second image displayed in the second display portion is made so that at least one of the brightness, color, and contrast becomes roughly identical with that of the first image.
