To obtain a sharp spot image by guiding the light from a light emitting element without enlarging it in a light transmissive substrate, in an image printing device.
The image printing device includes: an image carrier 110 that has an image carrier surface S110 moving in a direction; a main substrate 220; a light emitting element 205 formed on the main substrate 220; and a sealing substrate 230 which overlaps on the main substrate 20 to seal the light emitting element 205. The sealing substrate 230 constitutes a contact surface S10 contacting the image carrier face S110, wherein a cylindrical optical wave-guide 235 with one tip end face constituting the contact face S10 is embedded in the sealing substrate 230. One end face of the optical wave-guide 235 faces the light emitting element 205 and covers the light emitting layer 210. The optical wave-guide 235 guides the light introduced from the light emitting element 205 through the one end face to the other end face by being totally reflected on the peripheral face.
