PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a high quality image with excellent reproducibility even in the case of image data where pixel information is deleted in a part of pixels.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus comprises: a determination part 251 that determines a format of image data; and a control part 30 that specifies a part of pixels with a part of pixel information deleted on the basis of pixel information of the pixels in a unit region 45 in the case where the format of image data determined by the determination part 251 is the format where the part of pixel information is deleted, for the part of pixels in the unit region 45 obtained by separating the image data by an N (N is a natural number of 2 or more) pixel unit, and interpolates the pixel information of a specified pixel by using the pixel information of the other pixel in the unit region 45.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
