An animation moving image generation part 21 generates the image data of an animation moving image in which the motion of an object is determined on the basis of animation information set by an animation setting part 22. A motion amount calculation part 23 calculates a motion amount v of the object on the basis of the animation information. A motion blur correction part 24 corrects the data of pixels corresponding to the object out of the image data on the basis of the motion amount v. A display control part 25 displays an animation moving image corresponding to image data including the corrected pixel data on the holding type display device 12. This invention can be applied to an image processing apparatus for processing an image to be displayed on a liquid crystal display or the like.
