Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus in which an image desired by a user is searched and extracted from refocus images having different depth of field and focal position, and when there is no refocus image having desired depth of field and focal position, the refocus image is reconstructed.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus includes: acquisition means for acquiring image data, subject information of a subject, information of the subject distance corresponding to the subject, and range information of the depth of field in the image data; instruction means for instructing a subject; determination means for determining whether or not a subject instructed by the instruction means is within the depth of field of the image data, on the basis of the subject information of a subject in the image data, information of the subject distance corresponding to the subject, and range information of the depth of field thus acquired; and output means for outputting the image data acquired from the acquisition means.
