Abstract:
To suppress a reduction in parallax between a left eye compatible camera and a right eye compatible camera, which occurs when a user terminal is oriented from the front direction to the left and right direction, when displaying a stereoscopic image generated by geometry pipeline stereoscopic image generation processing on the user terminal.SOLUTION: A viewpoint setting unit 56, on the basis of an orientation of a user terminal 16, sets a left eye viewpoint for a left eye corresponding 3D model in a world coordinate system and a right eye view point for a right eye corresponding 3D model in the world coordinate system. Thus, for each of the left eye viewpoint and the right eye view point, a view coordinate system is defined in which a line of sight direction is a Z axis negative direction, a direction of an upward vector is a Y axis positive direction, and an orientation direction constituting a right hand system with respect to the Z axis and the Y axis is an X axis positive direction. A viewpoint correction unit 58 moves the left-eye viewpoint in an X axis negative direction in the left-eye view coordinate system, and moves the right eye viewpoint in the X axis positive direction in the right eye view coordinate system.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
