Abstract:
To improve the estimation accuracy of an accounting counter using a rendering function of an image processing apparatus.SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus comprises: a communication unit 151 for receiving print data; a drawing unit 152 for generating drawing data by rendering the print data; an engine 154 for executing a print process on the basis of the drawing data; and a counter 155 for acquiring accounting information about accounting on the basis of the content of the print process. The engine 154 executes a phantom print process, which print process does not perform printing to a recording medium, on the basis of drawing data generated from print data to which specified commands are added.
