Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce delay in distortion correction of image information.SOLUTION: A writing control unit writes image information on an input image in memory. A detection unit detects, of blocks obtained by dividing the input image into plurality, blocks in which image information forming the blocks has been written in the memory. A correction processing unit performs correction processing of distortion generated in the input image one by one for the blocks detected by the detection unit. Since distortion correction processing of the image information can be performed not in a line unit but in a block unit, delay in distortion correction can be reduced. In transmitting the image information subjected to the distortion correction processing to another apparatus via a network, delay in transmission can be reduced.
