An image processing apparatus 6 of processing an imaged subject image has: a shading correction part 10 that is a shading correction means carrying out shading correction of the subject image depending on a shading coefficient; a color temperature estimating part 18 that is a color temperature estimating means estimating a color temperature of environment light; and a shading coefficient correction part 19 that is a shading coefficient correction means correcting the shading coefficient based on the color temperature estimated by the color temperature estimating means.
