Abstract:
To provide an image processing system and a program that prevent a wrong operation performed by a user different from a user who instructs document image reading and transmission processing regardless of the presence or absence of use of user authentication.SOLUTION: When an MFP 103 receives an instruction of first transmission processing from a tablet type terminal 101 through a network I/F, the MFP determines whether or not the first transmission processing can be received based on the operating state of an operation unit. When a top screen is displayed on the operation unit or a constant time elapses from when the operation unit is last operated, the MFP permits reception of the first transmission processing. When the reception is permitted, a CPU controls a scanner to read a document to generate image data, and controls a Fax unit and a modem to transmit the image data by fax. When the reception is not permitted, the MFP does not execute the first transmission processing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
