Abstract:
To shorten a time required until printing is started after printing is instructed, compared with a case where the whole of compressed image data is decompressed.SOLUTION: This image processing device comprises: compression means for dividing image data, in which image forming information relating to formation of an image is written for each coordinate of pixel, into a plurality of blocks for each area of predetermined coordinates, to compress the plurality of divided blocks, respectively; and writing means which, when an instruction of printing where a first image formed from the image data and a second image different from the first image are formed with respect to one recording material is received, decompresses a corresponding block corresponding to a designated coordinate designated as a coordinate on which the second image is formed, out of the plurality of compressed blocks, to write the image forming information relating to the second image into the designated coordinate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
