Abstract:
To appropriately perform inspection of print position deviation even when the width of a print media is larger than a width at which the print medium can be read.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus according to the present invention has: setting means that sets a condition for detecting deviation of a printing position on a print medium in a printed material; and inspection means that inspects the deviation of a printing position based on the condition from data obtained by reading the print medium. When the width of the print medium is larger than a width at which the print medium can be read, the condition has a small settable range compared with a case where the width of the print medium is smaller than a width at which the print medium can be read.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
