Abstract:
To solve the problem in which a merged image of a subject in the foreground (closer to the subject) may be out of alignment due to parallax when generating a panoramic image by merging still images captured.SOLUTION: An image processing device has synthesizing means for synthesizing by cropping a portion from a plurality of images and acquiring means for obtaining distance information of a subject from at least a portion of the plurality of images. The synthesizing means determines the size of the portion to be cropped from the images with respect to at least a portion of the plurality of images on the basis of the distance information of the image acquired by the acquiring means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
