Abstract:
To improve printing efficiency by optimizing application of serial processing.SOLUTION: The image processing device comprises a processing part 103 that performs serial processing for sequentially performing interpretation processing for interpreting printing data while receiving a plurality of printing data corresponding to a plurality of pages respectively and batch processing for performing interpretation processing after receiving printing data corresponding to all of the pages. The processing part 103 derives printing order of the plurality of pages to be printed, on the basis of the all of the pages and print settings, and if a predetermined printing method is to be executed in the print settings, derives a range in which serial processing can be performed and a range in which the serial processing cannot be performed in the printing order, and performs the serial processing in the range in which the serial processing can be performed and performs the batch processing in the range in which the serial processing cannot be performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
