Abstract:
To solve the problem that it takes time and efforts to predict time and a speed required in generating printing data in advance and further the prediction is not always correct, so that printing may not be executed properly if the printing is executed on the basis of an incorrect prediction.SOLUTION: An image processing device comprises a control part that when receiving an instruction to print an image, generates printing data that are used in printing from the image. After starting the generation of the printing data, the control part calculates a speed of the generation of the printing data on the basis of quantities of the generated printing data and time required in generating the printing data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
