Abstract:
To provide an image processing device that can be switched to an RGB rendering more efficiently than before, in accordance with received printing data.SOLUTION: An image processing device comprises: a communication part having a plurality of ports including IPP ports; an image data obtaining part that obtains image data for printing from an external instrument through any one of the plurality of ports; a bit map data generating part that generates RGB bit map data or CMYK bit map data, on the basis of the image data; an image processing part that processes the RGB bit map data to convert the data to the CMYK bit map data for printing; and a control part that controls the communication part, the image data obtaining part, the bit map data generating part, and the image processing part. The control part changes a process for generating the bit map data, between the case where the image data obtaining part obtains the image data for printing through the IPP ports and the other case.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
