To provide an image processing device, an image processing method, and a program for generating a composite image by using a clear image taken by another drone when at least part of an image taken by its own drone is unclear.SOLUTION: An image processing device includes an image acquisition unit that acquires a captured image taken by its own drone, a communication control unit that acquires a captured image taken by another drone, and an image synthesis unit that, if the captured image taken by the own drone is unclear, replaces the unclear captured image with the captured image taken by the other drone with better conditions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
