Abstract:
To provide an image processing system which can predict time required for a RIP process with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A terminal device 1 comprises: a RIP estimation value generation unit 152 which generates a RIP estimation value on the basis of processing time of a RIP process for print data; and a print data transmission unit 153 which transmits the RIP estimation value Ttogether with the print data to an image forming device 3. The image forming device 3 comprises a processing time prediction unit 45 which calculates estimated processing time (completion schedule time Ta) until the RIP process of the entire page is completed, on the basis of processing time Trequired for the RIP process to a designated line, and the RIP estimation value T, at the completion of the RIP process to the designated line (M line) for the print data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
