Abstract:
To provide an image processing device that allows image data on symbols with a large size to be reproducibly cached to reduce time required for generating page image data to be used in printing.SOLUTION: An image processing device includes an image processing part for generating image data on symbols, a first storage part including a cache region, and a control part. The cache region includes a first cache region and a second cache region. The image processing part divides the image data on symbols into a plurality of blocks. The image processing part generates analysis result data showing respective analysis results of the blocks. The control part causes the image data on mixed blocks to be stored in the first cache region. The control part does not cause image data on a blank space and a filled block to be stored in the first cache region. The control part causes the analysis result data to be stored in the second cache region.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
