Abstract:
To suppress the load applied to a device for performing detection when performing detection of the difference in pieces of raster data generated in different methods during printing.SOLUTION: An image processing device 30 generates pieces of raster data in a first method and a second method from image data for which image formation is instructed, and detects the difference in the raster data generated in the first method and the raster data generated in the second method. The image processing device 30 generates the raster data in the first method and the second method for the image data for which only RIP processing is instructed when only the RIP processing is instructed for other image data until discharge of the final page is performed in an image formation device 20 for the image data for which image formation is instructed, stops detection of the difference between the raster data generated in the first method and the raster data generated in the second method until discharge of the final page is finished for the image data for which image formation is instructed, and starts detection of the difference when discharge is finished.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
