Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a screen angle expressed in irrational tangent or to make all dot pitches of screen in different colors equal to each other.
SOLUTION: In the image processing to express gradation by a mesh point consisting of a plurality of dots, an image reproduction engine is utilized, which attaches toner to a development area with a prescribed area at a prescribed position in response to image reproduction data consisting of dots. Then a gravity center position of a mesh consisting of a single dot or a plurality of adjacent dots is shifted to an optional position from the center of the dots to realize a desired screen angle or a desired mesh point pitch. As a result, an irrational tangent screen angle is realized and the mesh point pitch of a plurality of screen in a plurality of colors are all made equal.
