Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily discriminate between a core and a clad in a processed transmission image of an optical fiber and display images clearly when plural transmission images are displayed together on one screen.
CONSTITUTION: A transmission image 3 of the optical fiber lighted sideways is emphasized and reduced at right angles to the optical axis of the optical fiber and also reduced in the direction of the optical axis respectively, and plural reduced image 4 which are obtained through the processes and have different directions are displayed together on one screen.
