An MFP (Multi Function Peripheral) 100 is connected to client PCs 101 to 103 in a communicable way. The MFP 100 stores setting information for executing a function as the MFP 100, and executes the function as the MFP 100 according to the stored setting information. The MFP 100 also determines whether the user's operation is required to execute the function as the MFP 100 according to the stored setting information, adds, according to the determination result, attribute information showing whether to allow the execution of the function following the setting information to be automatically executed on the basis of an instruction from the client PCs 101 to 103 to the setting information, and transmits the setting information with the attribute information added thereto to the client PCs 101 to 103.
