Title:
IMAGE PROCESSOR, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3833196
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a color separation table without causing color misregistration or the like in order to support the separation of the color into inks in four colors or over.
SOLUTION: The image processor combines inks of the same hue from ink with high density in C (cyan), M (magenta), and K (black) colors or the like and ink with low density in Lc (light cyan), Lm (light magenta), and Lk (light black) colors and outputs a patch. Further, the image processor includes: a patch measurement means 101 for carrying out photometry; and a contrast separation means 102 for separating e.g., the color C into a combination of the C and the Lc on the basis of the photometric data obtained by the patch measurement means 101, and the image processor detects the misregistration of the color by the combination of the C and the Lc separated by the contrast separation means 102 from the original color configured with the C only, corrects the out of color registration by adding a color material other than the C and the Lc to the combination of the C and the Lc to thereby realize contrast separation not causing the color misregistration.
