Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transfer the entire required part for each block by one time DMA activation and to suppress a buffer inside an image processing module to a small-scale capacity of about the block unit.
SOLUTION: A memory 5, a DMA controller 1 and the image processing module inputting, outputting and processing data for each block share a data bus. The DMA controller is provided with a register storing the horizontal size value and vertical size value of a block, a block numerical value in a horizontal direction on a screen, an address increase value in a memory space of one line in a vertical direction on the screen, a data transfer start address value and a transfer end address value, a counter identifying a horizontal coordinate and a vertical coordinate within the block of input/output data, a block number in the horizontal direction and the block number in the vertical direction and an address calculation means calculating an address on the basis of register stored values and counted values.
