To reduce user's operation labor when acquiring a picked-up image including an object, such as a face of a specified person from a plurality of picked-up images.
An image storage part stores a picked-up image that is picked up by an imaging part. An object selection part selects an object from the picked-up image that is picked up by the imaging part, for example, the face of a person. An image extraction part extracts a picked-up image corresponding to the selected object from the stored picked-up images. For example, the image extraction part extracts a picked-up image that includes all of the selected object or a portion of the selected object, or does not include all of the selected object from the stored picked-up images on the basis of mode setting. A user has only to image an image including an object, which facilitates a user's operation for acquiring a picked-up image including the object.
