Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more naturally composite a plurality of images by performing weighted addition of an overlapping area in accordance with features of images.SOLUTION: An image processor includes acquisition means for acquiring a position for specifying an area for compositing a plurality of images in an overlapping area about the plurality of images acquired so as to be partially overlapped, detection means for detecting edges of the plurality of images in the vicinity of the position for specifying the area, and composition means for compositing the plurality of images to create an output image by blending pixel values of each pixel constituting the plurality of images in the vicinity of the position for specifying the area. The composition means sets a parameter for controlling an area for compositing the plurality of images in accordance with a correlation between the position for specifying the area and the edges.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
